Anthony Simcoe is an Australian actor, best known for his portrayal of Ka D'Argo in the science fiction television series Farscape.
Bio[]
Simcoe is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney, Australia Holds an MFA in Drama specializing in actor training. He returned briefly to NIDA to teach, and while there, taught Matt Newton for a short period of time.
Before Farscape began, he and Tammy MacIntosh shared a flat while she was a backup singer in his band. ("Cool Farscape Facts" - Starburst Edition DVD v3.1)
As Ka D'Argo in Farscape, Simcoe was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series in 2002. He has also appeared in several other television series including Chameleon.
Between acting roles he works as a freelance corporate trainer. He also performs in the band "Signal Room" (formerly known as The Giant Killers, and Number 96), along with fellow Farscape cast member Wayne Pygram. He has recently become a father for the first time to a son, Willem.
As of late 2023, he is running his own consultancy company.
