A dampening net was a non-lethal Plokavian weapon that Captain Bialar Crais wanted to use to replace Talyn's sonic ascendancy cannon. Not much is known about it other than its non-lethality. The weapon itself was never seen because before the replacement could be made, Talyn destroyed the weapon dealers.
