Delik was a scientist who studied time and temporal anomalies.
Stark mentioned Delik when he and Zhaan were trying to determine the reason why John Crichton and Aeryn Sun disappeared while investigating a planet in a dense cloud of stellar mist.
After discovering that Aeryn had apparently aged over 160 cycles in what would seem to be only a few arns, Stark suggested that perhaps it was Moya who was trapped in some sort of temporal anomaly once described by a scientist named Delik. Stark stated that Delik "theorized about what he called 'center halos.' He believed that scattered throughout the universe were mists where all dimensions met and time ceased to exist." ("The Locket")
