Hamlet was an Earth play written in the 16th century by William Shakespeare.

John Crichton occasionally quoted the play while in the Uncharted Territories.

When trying to get the Tavlek gauntlet off of Ka D'Argo, Crichton quoted "Good night, sweet prince," from the fifth act as they tried using Zotoh Zhaan's sleep-mist on him. ("Throne For a Loss")

The following cycle, Crichton quoted the play again, this time the second act, stating, "so that's the play? The play. The play, the play is the thing," while trying to reenact his initial mission with a model for DK, his father, and Douglas Logan. ("Won't Get Fooled Again")

Crichton quoted the play yet again when he stated "Aye, there's the rub," to Mele-On Grayza when she told him to name his price as he was looking to find a way out of the situation. ("We're So Screwed - Hot to Katratzi")
