First sighting - Episode 1.5 "Back And Back And Back To The Future"

Ilanics are a bipedal species, similar to their distant cousins, the Luxans. The two species have been blood allies for 1,000 cycles. Currently the Ilanics are in the throes of a war with the Scorvians. To win the war the Ilanics are working to use black holes, and have experimented in capturing the phenomenon to use as a military weapon. However, they have not yet been successful in this endeavour. Although Ilanics and Scorvians look nothing alike, a Scorvian spy can be altered to appear Ilanic.
