Ilanics were a bipedal species, similar to their distant cousins, the Luxans. The two species had been blood allies for a thousand cycles. Currently the Ilanics are in the throes of a war with the Scorvians. To win the war the Ilanics were working to use black holes, and experimented in capturing the phenomenon to use as a military weapon. They were not successful in this endeavour. Although Ilanics and Scorvians look nothing alike, a Scorvian spy could be altered to appear Ilanic.
