Rockne S. O'Bannon is a television writer and producer as well as co-creator of Farscape. He is also creator of such shows as Alien Nation, seaQuest DSV, and the miniseries The Triangle. Other writing credits include Amazing Stories and the 1980s incarnation of The Twilight Zone.
He is married with three children and currently resides in California.
