Possible evidence that hour and arn are not equally long Edit

Is the example from the NamTar episode the only evidence that hour = arn?  Because in the next episode, they consider D'Argo revivable after having been in space for half an hour, despite that Luxans can only survive vacuum for "about a quarter of an arn, maybe".  Crichton could just have been mistaken about how long an arn is, or simply wanted to avoid confusing NamTar (who wouldn't have heard of "hours") without going into detail.  On the other hand, it's possible that they wanted to try to revive D'Argo no matter how hopeless it was.
