Time tear goggles were used at a memorial on the Jocacean Memorial Planet for the user to witness events of the far past unfold. However, when combined with the energy of a Stykera, such as Stark, they transform into a time-travel portal, resulting in the goggles sending a group back in time to the moment that the tear allowed them to observe. ("...Different Destinations")
