Transport pods are small unarmed craft typically found in service to Leviathans. Transport pods are multi-role ships that can be used to transport just about anything, as demonstrated by Moya's crew. They are made from the same bio-mechanoid material as Leviathans such as Moya but are not sentient like a leviathan. They are alive but need to be manually controlled by a pilot and/or crew. Moya grows these pods in her transport hangars. Pilot's control over each Pod is limited to monitoring onboard systems and communicating with passengers. Everything else depends on the flight crew.
