Distinctions:	All observed Tregans have worn ocular devices that cover the eyes. The purpose of these are unknown, though it is possible that they enhance the vision of the wearer.

Tregans were mercenaries employed by the Peacekeepers; they were supervised by a "Head Tregan" and a Peacekeeper officer.

Their ships used harpoon-like weapons to ensnare other spacecraft and inspect them for the Peacekeepers. A ship of Tregans attacked and boarded Moya before the Leviathan's crew killed them all to a man ("Peacekeeper Wars: Part 1").
