Zzmro was a Han-jee and the proprietor of Zzmro's Scriptorium on an unnamed Commerce planet that relied on lava canals for geothermal energy.
Bio[]
At one point Zzmro came across the Annals of the Hynerian Dominars at an estate sale and later purchased it. At his scriptorium he placed the book in his stacks as part of his collection.
The Moya crew, composed of John, Rygel, Jool and Chiana came to his famed bookstore in hopes of acquiring star charts for them to use to return to their respective homes. Rygel particularly was interested in the Annals of the Hynerian Dominars. Just as he and Crichton were negotiating a deal with Zzmro for the annals, the Han-jee caught Chiana trying to snurch one of his books via his detachable eyes. Furious Zzmro ordered his Tavlek security guard to escort the Moya crew out though allowed Rygel and Crichton to leave with their purchase.
When Rygel and Crichton returned, Zzmro initially believed they wanted a refund or a return, but instead found that they offered to sell him back his book, as it was now a collectible since it was personally annotated and signed by an actual Dominar. He accepted the deal giving them a refund of their money and also a bit extra. ("Lese-Majeste")

- Crichton had asked Zzmro if he had any books by Larry Niven or Vernor Vinge, but the alien never heard of the human authors.
